Product Description

Dr. Dent's Dental Desensitization Kit

This kit was designed by Special Needs Dentist, Dr. Jacob Dent, and the Triple Bristle toothbrush creator, Dr. Max Babiner to help individuals who struggle with dental anxiety and sensory issues. The kit allows parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists the opportunity to simulate a trip to the dentist at home, school, or in the therapist’s office.

Inside the box are common dental items that with practice, can help individuals overcome some of their fears and desensitize them for their next dental visit. Most of the items included with the kit will likely be used during dental procedures and routine cleanings in a dental office setting. Watch the demo video to find out more.

3-sided Brushing

It just makes sense to brush all sides of your teeth at the same time! Easier to use than a traditional single-sided toothbrush.

Gentle On All Smiles

The angled soft bristles provide a deep gentle clean, making it safe and effective for braces and beyond. Ideal for special needs individuals and caregivers.

Dentist Designed Products

Our 3-sided brush head design ensures your teeth are cleaned on all surfaces— saving time and offering a faster, more effective and efficient way to brush.

How do you use a Triple Bristle 3-Sided Toothbrush?

To get the best clean, brush your teeth in quadrants for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Start by placing a pea-sized amount of your favorite toothpaste onto the brush head. Gently position the brush around your teeth so the bristles engage your gums, surrounding all sides - front, back, and chewing surfaces. Press the power button and select your preferred cleaning mode. Glide the brush slowly along your teeth, using light pressure and letting the bristles do the work. The built-in 2-minute timer will pause to signal when it’s time to move to the next section of your mouth, ensuring a complete clean.

Once you’ve finished brushing, use the included tongue cleaner to gently clean your tongue, removing bacteria and leaving your mouth feeling fresh. Every Triple Bristle toothbrush comes with a tongue cleaner for optimal oral hygiene.

Can I use the Triple Bristle toothbrush if I have dental work?

Yes, Triple Bristle brushes are dental-work friendly and comfortable to use on braces, implants, crowns, veneers, and other dental work. The soft bristles and flexible brush heads adapt to different shapes and surfaces, providing a thorough yet gentle clean. Many customers have also reported using their Triple Bristle brushes to clean night guards, Invisalign aligners, and even dentures, thanks to the effective cleaning power of the 3-sided design.

Does it Work for Children and Adults?

Yes, Triple Bristle is designed to work for both children and adults. Our brush heads come in various sizes to ensure a comfortable and effective fit, making it ideal for family use. We offer both adult and kids models, explore them here and here for kids. Recommended for children ages 6 and up. Caregivers, individuals with special needs, and those with limited dexterity also love the brush for its ease of use and effective cleaning. Happy brushing!

How Often Should I Replace the Brush Head?

For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the brush head every 60-90 days. This ensures effective cleaning and oral hygiene. The American Dental Association (ADA) also suggests replacing your toothbrush head every 90 days or after you’ve been sick. Most Triple Bristle toothbrushes feature blue indicator bristles that fade over time, so you’ll know exactly when it’s time to swap. For added convenience, we offer the Triple Bristle Brush Club, which delivers brush head refills right to your door in time for your next swap. Explore our replacement brush heads collection here - including replacement brush heads that are compatible with most Philips Sonicare® brand electric sonic toothbrushes.
